Application form AISSEE 2025 – The National Testing Agency has released the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2025 application form. Registration is ongoing for admission to Class VI and IX for the academic year 2025-26. Interested applicant should visit the official AISSEE 2025 application form portal – exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/ for registration.

Candidates who made some errors during registration can also login to the portal for corrections. Our duty here is to provide you with the step-by-step guide on how to register for the 2025 AISSEE exam.

AISSEE 2025 Application fee

General, Wards of Defence personnel, ex-servicemen, and OBC (NCL) candidates pay Rs 650/

Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes categories pay Rs. 500.

2025 AISSEE Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission into Sainik Schools, candidates must secures a minimum of 25% marks in each subject of the exam and 40% marks in aggregate of all the subjects of AISSEE 2025.

Also, admission will be based on the outcome of e-counselling as per the merit list of AISSEE – 2025, medical fitness, and verification of requisite documents.

Age Limit: 10 years to 12 years for Class 6th and 13 years to 15 years for Class 9th as on March 31, 2025.

Age Eligibility

Eligibility for admission to Class VI: Candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as on 31.03.2025. Admission for Girls is open for Class VI, subject to availability of vacancies. Age criteria is same as boys is detailed in the Information Bulletin.

Eligibility for admission to Class IX: Candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as on 31.03.2024 and should have passed Class VIII, from a recognised school, at the time of admission. Admission for Girls is open for Class IX, subject to availability of vacancies. Age criteria is same as boys is detailed in the Information Bulletin.

How to Apply

Step 1: Visit the official AISSEE 2025 application form link here >> https://exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/.

Step 2: Click on the registration link and fill in the required details as requested

Step 3: Fill and complete the online application form with accurate details

Step 4: Pay the application fee through the provided online payment options

Step 5: Download the admission form and take a printout of it for future reference.

Detailed Steps

Step 1: AISSEE Registration 2024 Online

Visit the official website: exams.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/application 2025.
On the homeopage, Click on the “Application”.
You will see a new page with fee information and required documents. Read the instructions carefully, and click the “Proceed” button.
Your personal information, the school applied for, father and mother’s details, exam medium, exam centre preference, and permanent dwelling address will now appear on the screen.
Click on the “Save” button to create and store a User ID and Password.

Step 2: Upload Photograph & Signature

Upload a passport-sized photo that has been scanned.
Upload the applicant’s signature in the size and format specified.
The format of the two scanned copies must be jpg.
Photographs and signature images should not be larger than 1MB.

Step 3: Online Fee Payment

After uploading scanned photos, students must pay the Rs. 550 (Rs. 400 for SC/ST) Sainik school tuition online.
Students can pay the fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
Additional transaction fees of Rs. 30 will apply.

Step 4: Upload Documents

Scanned copies of students’ birth certificates, domicile certificates, and caste certificates are now required.
It must be in the.jpg ,.png, or.pdf format.
No document should have a size greater than 2 MB.
Students in the General and Defence categories do not need to submit a caste certificate.

Step 5: Download Confirmation Page

Once the aforementioned processes are completed, a confirmation page will be generated.
Students should carefully review all of the information on the Sainik School admission form 2024 and save the confirmation page for their purposes.

Step 6: Submit the AISSEE Application Form 2025

Finally, press the “Submit” button to submit the admission form.

Download Class Admit Card

Candidates can download their respective Admit Cards from the said website using their Application Number and Date of Birth and read the instructions contained therein carefully.

The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions.
Admit Card will not be sent by post.
Candidate must not mutilate the Admit Card or change any entry made therein.
Issue of Admit Card, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility which shall be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of admission process.
Candidates are advised to preserve a copy of their Admit Card in good condition for future
