Bell equipment bursary 2024 –Bell has set up a bursary scheme to help a select few talented South African students pursue tertiary education in specific fields at recognised educational institutions in the country.

The bursary’s goal is to help develop the skills pool in the Zululand region of South Africa and areas identified within the Southern African Operations. From this, the company views the bursary programme as a key tool for attracting candidates who align with the company’s employment equity objectives.

Accordingly, Bell has set up a bursary scheme to help a select few talented South African students pursue tertiary education in specific fields at recognised educational institutions in the country. These students are chosen based on their merit.

About The Bell equipment Bursary 2024: Fields Covered

The 2024 Bell Equipment Bursaries are specifically for applicants within the following fields:

• Computer science (BSc)
• Electrical Engineering (BEng / BSc)
• Electronics Engineering (BEng / BSc)
• Information Technology (BSc / BComm)

Applicants are expected to download and complete the Bell Equipment Bursary Application Form 2024. This is in PDF format.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Here, you are required to submit well-printed copies of the following supporting documents along with your application:

• Your identity document (certified copy)
• Your most recent statement of academic results or reports (certified copy)
• Your parent or guardian ID documents, if you are under 18 years old (certified copies)
• Your parents or guardians proof of income (latest paystub if employed, affidavit if unemployed, pension slips if applicable)
• A motivational letter

CONDITIONS ON THE AWARD OF BELL EQUIPMENT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR UNDERGRADUATES:

• The bursary is renewable annually.
• Bursary holders can apply annually.
• The agency does not award bursaries for correspondence courses.
• Candidates can obtain the bursaries at any South African university they select.
• Applicants should forward applications on the prescribed form to the Group Training and Development
• Coordinator at Bell Equipment Company, or you can email them to bursaries@bellequipment.com.
• If candidates do not take up the awarded bursaries in the relevant university calendar year, they will forfeit them.
• A bursary holder may not possess other bursary funding for the same purpose for which the bursary has been awarded. However, the student’s institution will regard academic performance grants as an exception.
• Candidates must submit proof of registration, on the prescribed form, at the university for that year and their student number before the end of March.
• The bursary holder is responsible for obtaining progress reports and examination results for submission to Bell Equipment Company.
• In the event of a change of address, Bell Equipment Company / Bell Equipment Foundation Trust must be notified immediately.
• Candidates should get consent before switching through the Bursary Course.
• Candates will pay the full amount of the money received if they choose not to accept the employment offer with Bell Equipment Company / Bell Equipment Foundation Trust.
