About Eduvos 

Eduvos that is formerly Pearson Institute of Higher Education and Midrand Graduate Institute and Computer Training Institute (CTI) is a South African private higher education institution that is headquartered in Midrand, Gauteng Province and that has 12 campuses across South Africa. It offers bachelor’s degrees in commerce, information technology, law, social sciences, creative arts, communications and biosciences. It also offers several postgraduate qualifications, including a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Graphic Design, a Bachelor of Science Honours in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Business Management.

Eligibility for Eduvos Application

Minimum admission requirements for undergraduate degrees:

  1. You must pass at least 6 out of 7 subjects with a minimum of:
  • 40% or Level 3 for your Home Language;
  • 50% or Level 4 for four other high credit subjects (excluding Life Orientation);
  • 30% or Level 2 for two other subjects
  1. For your Eduvos APS calculation, Life Orientation will be granted 3 points from any percentage above 40%
  2. Alternatively, the endorsement on your NSC may grant you admission into a Higher Certificate or Foundation Programme

National Certificate Vocational (Level 4) admission requirements:

  1. You must pass 7 subjects by achieving a minimum of:
  • 40% in English Language
  • 30% minimum in Maths/Maths Literacy
  • 40% in Life Orientation
  • 50% in each of 4 vocational subjects

For Admission into a Bachelor’s Degree:

  1. You must have achieved a minimum of 60% in three Fundamental subjects (English, Mathematics or Math Literacy or Technical Mathematics, Life Orientation)
  2. You must have a minimum of 70% in the four Vocational subjects chosen from the NC(V) registered subject list

The NCV (Level 4) subjects must relate to the degree you intend to enrol in.

Admission requirements for Eduvos Application

If you completed Grade 12 up to December 2008 without any endorsement, don’t hesitate to contact a Higher Education Consultant for further information.

  • Life Orientation will be granted 3 points from any percentage above 40%.

  • You must have a minimum of 50% in English.
  • Life Orientation and Mathematics/Mathematical Literacy/ Technical Mathematics.
  • You must have a minimum of 70% in four vocational subjects chosen from the NCV (NQF 4) subjects.
  • The NCV (NQF4) subjects must relate to the degree for which you intend to enrol.

For Admission into a Bachelor’s Degree:

This user-friendly portal allows prospective students to apply to Eduvos online easily. Applicants first create an account by providing their name, email address, and password. They can then fill out information about their academic background, extracurricular activities, awards, etc. The portal allows applicants to upload documents such as transcripts, test scores, recommendation letters, and essays.

One useful feature is the ability to save your application and come back to complete it later. Throughout the process, helpful tips and guidance are provided to assist applicants. Once submitted, users can check the status of their application through the portal. Overall, the Eduvos application portal provides an efficient, streamlined way for students to complete their applications entirely online.

Step-by-step application process

  • You can apply online by visiting the https://www.eduvos.com/apply-now/. Applicants can also visit the school to book an online application session if possible.
  • You can use your smartphone, tablet, or computer to apply online via the student i-Enabler, using your PIN and student number to log on.
  • Applicants should apply for admission for the current and next levels of their application.
  • Make sure you upload all the required documents and pay the necessary fees.

Step 1: Get your application form either online and/or offline

Step 2: Complete your application form in full

Step 3: Attach all supporting documents

All applicants starting a new qualification are required to upload the following certified documents:

  •  Certificates/Qualifications
  •  Recent Academic results
  •  A valid study permit (Foreign national students)
  •  The South African Qualification Authority’s (SAQA)
  •  Evaluation Certificate (foreign qualifications)

Step 4: Submit your application

A confirmation email will be sent to you with all the application information.

  • 31 January – First deadline for Enrolment fee payment
  • 13 February – Finalisation of 1st Enrolment fee payment
  • 20 February – Orientation commences at your local campus (All students must collect their student cards on campus)
  • 27 February – First day of lectures

  • Also, your enrollment will not be processed until you have paid your first instalment or upfront payment.
