Salary: £22,214 to £23,144 per annum (£12,007 to £12,510 pro rata) plus supplement to bring you to £12.03 per hour living wage

The Role
We are looking to appoint a part time afternoon Receptionist to provide a friendly, efficient and customer focused reception and telephone service. The hours of work are 1pm to 5pm (Monday to Friday) In many cases the Receptionist acts as the first point of contact for visitors to the university and, as such, they play a key part in providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Required Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will interact with a wide range of visitors therefore it is essential that they have excellent interpersonal skills. They should also have the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently and have a willingness to support colleagues in the team.
Experience of working in a reception or front of house environment is essential. Knowledge and experience of operating a telephone switchboard system is desirable, however we also welcome applications from candidates without this experience as full training will be provided.
