How to get to Lake of Rot
The Lake of Rot is a treacherous area in Elden Ring filled with scarlet rot, a deadly disease that can quickly kill you if you’re not careful. To get to the Lake of Rot, you’ll need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Reach the Ainsel River Main Site of Grace.
This can be done by following the Ainsel River Well from Liurnia of the Lakes, finding the Nokstella, Eternal City Site of Grace, and taking the elevator down.get to lake of rot
Step 2: Travel toward the South West
Head southwest from the Ainsel River Main Site of Grace until you reach the Nokstella Waterfall Basin Site of Grace.

Step 3: Head South
Head south from the Nokstella Waterfall Basin Site of Grace until you reach a large building. Inside the building, you’ll find a lift that will take you down to the Lake of Rot.

Step 4: Deal with the Scarlet Rot
Once you’re in the Lake of Rot, be careful not to stay in the water for too long, as it will slowly inflict scarlet rot. There are a few ways to deal with the scarlet rot, such as using the Cerulean Amber Medallion to increase your resistance to rot or using the Rotten Breath Incantation to poison your enemies.

Step 5: Follow the path to Lake of Rot
Follow the path through the Lake of Rot until you reach the Lake of Rot Shoreside Site of Grace.
Step 6: Explore the Lake Rot
From the Lake of Rot Shoreside Site of Grace, you can continue on to explore the Lake of Rot, or you can take the lift back up to the Ainsel River Main Site of Grace.
