CSS Profile Deadline 2024-2025 – The CSS (College Scholarship Services) Profile is a financial aid form colleges and scholarship sponsoring organizations require. Students who wish to apply for the next year’s 2024-2025 academy sessions have to submit their application information by the specific deadlines. Missing the CSS Profile submission deadline, students get denied access to institutional funds, i.e. grants and scholarships from that special college. About The CSS Program

Academic organizations and scholarship-awarding bodies use the CSS Profile as a tool. They use it to determine eligibility for institutional aid separate from the federal aid system. The College Board, the same group that develops the SAT, administers it to get a detailed picture of family finances. With the CSS Profile, colleges can make inquiries concerning financial matters. Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the CSS profile application are as follows:

• The CSS Profile is free for U.S. undergraduate students whose family income is within the range of $100,000.00.
• The CSS Profile can be accessed free of charge by families whose adjusted gross income does not exceed $100,000.
• About 40 percent of the students can fill in the application form for free. This includes 77% of undocumented and DACA students and 85% of the first-generation students based on data from the College Board.
• Waivers are offered to low-income students, those who qualify for an SAT fee waiver, and orphans/wards 24 y/o or younger.

Note: These requirements apply only to domestic undergraduates. International students typically have access to fee payment codes offered by nonprofit organizations and many colleges and universities.

How To Apply – CSS Profile 

A CSS profile will have to be created first before you can be able to apply for this program. To create a CSS Profile account, follow these steps based on the information provided in the sources:

1. Go to the CSS Profile website at https://cssprofile.collegeboard.org/.
2. Click on “Sign In to Apply” in the header of the page.
3. Select the application award year (e.g., Sign In 2018-19).
4. Click on “Sign Up” to create an account.
5. Complete the form using your (the parent’s) information, not your student’s information. Only provide information marked by a red asterisk*.
6. Access the CSS Profile application by signing in using the account you created.
7. Ensure that on the first page of the application, you correct any pre-filled information to your student’s information to ensure your student’s colleges can process your application

Deadline For The CSS Profile Application

The CSS Profile application commences on the 1st of October of the following academic year. The deadline for the application differs for every college. Ensure you check and confirm the deadline for the colleges where you’re applying to find out when you’ll need to have it done. Submit your application no later than two weeks before your earliest application deadline if you are applying to multiple colleges. Completing and submitting the CSS Profile on time ensures students receive full consideration for financial assistance beyond just federal student aid.
