Chieta Bursary 2024 – Application form

Chieta Bursary 2024: CHIETA bursary 2024 program is setup to financially aid eligible young South Africans students pursuing their full-time higher education. The program will provide grants for full-time studies at any accredited South African public tertiary institution. What Cheta Bursary Covers

The bursary covers tuition fees as specified in the institution’s statement of account, capped at a maximum of R76,000.

Remaining funds may be utilized for books and other academic expenses, provided they are supported by proof of expenditure.

CHIETA Bursary Requirements And Eligibility

Here’s a list of the eligibility criteria for the bursary program:

1. Applicant must be a South African citizen.
2. Candidates must be between the ages of 16 and 35.
3. He or she should not be receiving any other bursary funding.
4. Applicant must have recently completed Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science.
5. Candidates must be currently studying or already registered in one of the specified disciplines at an accredited South African tertiary institution.
6. Applicant must have passed all previous semester’s modules.

How To Apply for Chieta Bursary 2024

  1. Ensure you complete the CHIETA Bursary Application form in full.
  2. Attach certified copies of the following documents:
  • Download and complete in full the CHIETA Bursary Application form. (pdf)
  • Attach certified copies of the following documents with your application form:
  • ID- not older than 3 months
  • Final Grade 12 results or recent statement of academic results
  • Proof of registration from a tertiary institution
  • Household proof of income:
    Payslip not older than 3 months- if parents/guardians are employed
    Pension slip not older than 3 months, if parents/guardians are pensioners
    Sworn statement not older then 3 months, if parents/guardians are unemployed
    Parents/Guardians ID
    Proof of registration for other siblings who are registered at tertiary institutions, if applicable
