More About The Cipla Bursary Program
The bursary covers expenses like tuition fees, meals, accommodation, books, and a laptop. Recipients will receive one laptop for the entirety of their studies, with the institution purchasing it on their behalf. The ownership of the laptop will then transfer to the student, who will be responsible for all associated costs such as maintenance, repairs, insurance, and software updates.

More About The CIPLA Bursary Program- Renewal And Selection
Bursaries are awarded on a yearly basis, with funding renewable each year, all dependent on students fulfilling the following requirements:
1. Maintain a minimum overall average of 70% each year.
2. Keep Cipla informed about any information directly or indirectly affecting the bursary agreement.
3. Disclose any other sources of funding received and related contractual obligations.
4. Provide quarterly updates on any changes to subjects, field of study, postal address, physical address, contact details, mid-year and final-year exam results, studying status, etc.
5. Participate in vacation work.
6. Attend continuous development virtual workshops.
7. Apply to the CIPLA Graduate Program after graduation.
Successful candidates will receive notification no later than March 30, 2024.
Eligibility
Before applying, applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria (note that failure to satisfy all requirements will result in your application not being considered):
– Be a South African citizen.
– Be between 18 and 28 years old.
– Have completed Matric.
– Be pursuing a qualification within one of the listed fields.
– Have completed the first year of study.
– Be registered for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or later year of study in 2024.
– Honours and Masters students may be considered if they have completed a qualification in one of the listed fields and meet all other bursary criteria.
– PhD students may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
– Have passed all subjects or modules from the previous academic year.
– Be studying at a recognized and accredited public tertiary institution in South Africa.
– Have achieved a minimum overall average of 70% for the most recent completed year.
– Candidates must be able to maintain a minimum overall average of 70% each year.
– Be willing to participate in vacation work during holidays.
– Candidatee must willing apply to the Cipla Graduate Skills Program after graduation.
– Be highly motivated.
– Be fluent in English (able to read, write, and speak).
– Not be receiving any other bursary funding.
How To Apply
To apply, candidates must follow these steps:
Step 1: Complete the Cipla Bursary Screening form 2024.
Step 2: Apply online for the Cipla Bursary Application 2024 (Reference Number: 75756). When prompted to indicate how you heard about the Cipla bursary, enter “earlyfinder.com”.
Step 3: Submit clear copies of the following supporting documentation along with your online application. It is compulsory to include these documents, and failure to do so may result in disqualification:
– ID document (certified copy)
– Matric certificate (certified copy)
– Most recent academic record/transcripts (on institution’s letterhead)
– Proof of registration (on institution’s letterhead)
– Curriculum Vitae in PDF format (must include: mobile number, residential address, and email address) (1 page)
Note: Documents must be submitted in PDF format and named with your name, surname, and document type (example: Name_Surname_ID_Document_CBP2023).
